We were pleased to hear today in Dad's update that his chest x-ray had improved some. This is what we are praying will continue to be the case a little more each day. The doctors and nurses are adjusting his oxygen levels as needed while he is either on his back or stomach. We are also thankful that all of the rest of his organs are functioning well.
Please continue to pray specifically for healing for his lungs and that the chest x-rays continue to improve. Please pray that his oxygenation keeps improving. Please also pray that his other organs and system continue to remain healthy and stable.
We are so thankful for Dad's sister, Risa, who is in daily contact with his team of doctors and nurses. She is a very experienced nurse and is best able to communicate the progression of Dad's care from the staff to each of us. Please lift her up in your prayers as well, as she is a huge support to us in this and in advice for Mom's recovery.
Please also lift up my brother, Lee, and his family. They are also in daily communication with us and Aunt Risa, but we know that it is difficult to be so far away in this experience. They are a huge support to us right now as well, especially in prayer and hopefulness.
We continually feel the love and support from each of you as you pray with us for Dad's healing and Mom's continued recovery. We are so carried by your love and prayers.
So encouraged by the improvements. Woke up early this morning and prayed for everything you mentioned, Katy... remembering all your family at this time, especially those far away.

I’ve been praying again while reading through each request! Lord Jesus, please bring continued healing to Rob’s lungs and improved X-rays. Raise his oxygen levels and protect his organs with continued stability in his system. Thank you for what the gift Risa is to the family! She has been there for them with medical expertise so many times over the years! Bless her in every way as You continue to give her wisdom, understanding and clarity as she communicates with the medical staff. Shower Your love and grace on Eula, Katy, Dan, Lee and Jessica as they navigate each day. And bless each grandkid and those who are lovingly caring for them. May Your Spirit calm their fears. Infuse the family with Your faith and extravagant love!! Amen!!
