Wednesday update
Today ended up being a day of getting ready. Mom's discharge got pushed back. It seemed like a good idea to let her get to a lower amount of oxygen requirements before discharge. It is looking a lot more likely for tomorrow. We will be heading up to Show Low to be ready for her, and we have a space set up now for her here.
I didn't get an update directly from Dad's nurse today, but Mom did. They have moved him into a new room in the main ICU area (he was in a temporary ICU holding area prior to today). This sounds like it will be a bigger room and hopefully more comfortable for him.
Please continue praying for his full healing and for Mom's recovery here.
Thank you so much.
Rob & Eula- I just found out today about this difficult time for you and your family. You were always a spiritual leader at Chandler Fire. I remember those devotionals at Hoosier Cafe that Rob set up. I will remember you in my conversation with our Father in Heaven who knows you and your struggles well. Very Best Wishes to both of you. ReplyDeleteGood to hear some positive updates. I hope Uncle Rob is more comfortable in the new room, and it is heartening to hear Aunt Eula may be being released tomorrow! Continuing to pray for each of you. I am claiming healing and victory in the name of Jesus. All glory to Him for His blessings to us. Thank you for these posts, Katy. Love y'all.
ReplyDeleteRob and Eula,
ReplyDeleteYou've both been on my mind since I heard the news. I just learned of this blog. By the way, love the pic of you two...
Stay strong, you two. Rob, you are one of the kindest, loving, genuine people I know. You are also incredibly strong and resilient to gracefully overcome life's many challenges. I consider you a great friend and mentor.
I look forward to getting the band back together with you keeping the tempo, both literally and figuratively. Virtual hugs to you both, patiently awaiting the real deal. Dan Goldstein
