Friday prayer needs update

 Please lift up Dad tonight and in the coming days. He first told me a few days ago that this feels like the struggle of his life, and it is. His body is very tired and sick, and he is fighting so hard. 

He will probably need nutrition via IV (TPN). Please pray that TPN will give his body the nutrients he needs to heal. He has to be on his stomach for a great many hours each day. They are doing everything they can to keep from intubation and ventilation. But he needs our prayer.  

Please pray for God's healing over his body. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses that are providing him care. Please pray for his spirit to feel us lifting him up. 

Please pray. I don't have words enough to say thank you for your prayers for my Dad. 

My parents are so thankful for kind words of encouragement, but keeping up with many texts throughout the day can become overwhelming. I would kindly ask you to leave notes of encouragement here in the comments and come here for your updates instead of messaging my folks. It's also hard for Dad to even get to his phone right now, so we want him to be able to communicate with Mom and his sister, Risa (who is now getting daily updates), when he has the strength and the time. I thank you deeply for understanding how hard this is on both of them.
