Tuesday update
Thank you all for the encouraging comments and continued prayer!
Today we had some positive news for both of my parents. It looks like Mom may be discharged tomorrow! She has been working hard at getting to this point, and we are so thankful for this progress. As long as everything looks good tomorrow, we will plan on going to get her and bring her back to Queen Creek to continue her recovery.
The good news for Dad is that his heart rate has remained lower and he was able to sit up in his chair today for about an hour and eat and move around a little. This is very encouraging! Please continue to pray for his continued strength and full healing!
Mom texted today that she is keeping up with this blog and is encouraged by everyone's amazing response of love and prayer. She wanted me to share these verses she is praying over Dad today:
Psalm 84:5-7
"Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways Zion. Passing through the Valley of Baca (Weeping), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills the pools with blessings. They go from strength to strength, increasing in victorious power; each of them appears before God in Zion."
With great thanks,
Katy
