Today Mom is supplying verses for praying over Dad! Here's what she sent me this morning:

"In their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of his presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old." Isaiah 63:9

"For from of old no one has heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who earnestly waits for Him." Isaiah 64:4

"You meet and spare him who joyfully works righteousness, remembering You in Your ways."                  Isaiah 64:5b

"I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who are His servants and by your prayers put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, keep not silent."

I have read over and over this week Psalms that describe "those who wait on the Lord". They have been very comforting to me as we are in a waiting season for healing. Healing always requires time. And we will wait on healing and on the Lord. Please continue to lift up my mom and my dad. Please pray that my dad does not feel alone there. Please continue praying for strength and healing to return to his body and for great wisdom for the doctors and nurses with him. Please pray for continued healing for my mom, and wisdom and strength for me as I care for her during her recovery.

I may not get an update in tonight. But I will try to update tomorrow.

With all our love and gratitude,

Katy and family
