Endings
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to write that Dad passed away this morning. His passing was very calm and peaceful, and the whole family was able to be with him through the end. We had some very special, precious moments with him at the end that we will always cherish. We have peace knowing that he is safely in the arms of Jesus. Losing Dad is so deeply hard, because loving him was so deeply good, and he loved all of us so well.
As we make arrangements, I will post information here. If you would like to send condolences, Mom is staying with us right now. Our address is 19531 E Camina Plata, Queen Creek AZ, 85142.
We can never thank you enough for all of your love and support during this incredibly difficult season.

ReplyDeleteOur hearts are breaking with you right now. And even though we don't grieve as those who have no hope, we still grieve. We love each of you so much and so wish we could be with you right now. You will now and always be in our prayers. Prov. 18:24b says "but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Rob was truly a Brother.

ReplyDeleteIt is not often that two strangers become instant friends, seeing each other across the street, meeting in the middle and finding good common ground. Then making plans to do things in the future. But that's what happened, only to have that friendship and those plans be turned on their head by a virus so unforgiving as to take a wonderful person away from us. I am devastated by Rob's loss, but I will love him like a brother forever.

Katy; this is heartwrenching news and both Jeff and I are so sorry for your family, and especially your mom. Rob was a very special man, and we are sincerely blessed to be able to know him (from Toastmasters.) Our prayers are with all of you. Not a day goes by without Greg and I waking up with your family on our hearts filled with deep sadness.
